Time comes, time goes. 2005 comes, 2004 goes. I would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year!
I ended up at Atmosphere instead of Singapore. I was working you see, I was Mami-san selling my boys (Zhong, Gordon, Kevin, Kelvin, Adrian) to lonely ladies that need company for the night. HAHAHAHAHA ahhh I'm joking of course! I had a blast tho. Atmosphere was decorated with a lot of helium balloons. 'My boys' and I untied the balloons and breath in the helium... our voice became ...HAHAHAHA really funny. All of us got free party spray and stuff like that, that came in a party pack. There was a wrist LED blink blink thing in the party pack too! I love it!
Anyways, new year means new resolution. I taught about mine a lot these few days. My resolution?
1. My friends and I will be too busy work starting this year. So, my first resolution is to make sure I play catch up once in a while. I don't want to be a workaholic.
2. Keep focus. Don't stray.
3. Make time for dancing.
4. 50% of my pay goes to my mom (*cries cries* mommy ahhh 50% is a lot laaaa, you want me to die mehhhhh!!), a lot goes to my bills (I know, =( I have to pay my own bills now), my travelling and food expenses, ...that only leaves 12% of my pay for myself (yeeshh like EPF man). Damn little. So... I won't have money for shopping and partying anymore. My resolution, not to touch that 12%, I've got to save that up.
5. Don't fling money! If you get what I mean. Learn stuff on investments and how to make money work for me. Don't have to be Robert Kiyosaki style but Investment for Dummies will do.
And for my long term goals,
1. I give myself a maximun for 4 to 5 years to figure out what I want to study for my Masters. I need to know what I'm interested in. I don't want to study Software Engineering when I'm not even building software like in the job I'm at right now. More experience with other jobs and exposure to other stuff is a must for me inorder to decide.
2. Save save save SAVE up money enough for my down payment for my first home! WHAHAHAH this is a long long term goal. Will be very diffcult for me with only 12% of my pay =( Then a car of my own.
Hais... so I guess I won't be going for Sound of the Music after all. No money for that. Sad case. Anyone have advice for me?, money wise.
