Great dinner

My job agency had a dinner for us at KL Hiltol today just for the people in my company. 11 tables, and 1 main table for the VIPs (our supervisors and all).

Great dinner. Good organization and management. Nice environment. Service was really good.

We were allowed into the dinner hall early. At the corners of the halls were like small bar tables where there were bowls of tidbits for us to snack on. Waiter and waitress us keep us refreshed with drinks, while we all standing and chatting, and even when we were seated.

The seats were pre arranged by our job agency to let us mingle and I really have to say they really did a good job. It was also ok for those of us who were a little shy because we were seated with partners from the same team. So if you don't choose to mingle, you can always talk to the person next to you.

There was a little award ceremony going on, some speeches. All were very short and very sweet.

Food was ok. Dessert was good. Not too sweet, just to my liking. Service was really good. We had a jazz live bad entertaining us during the dinner and they were really good! The singer, she was really impressive. And the drummer had a really nice voice too! And FYI, this is not some sleazy Jazz band from a certain country. ...no offends to that country.

At the end of the dinner... lucky draw! Those who got lucky for a RM100 voucher from Iseitan. No bad. Too bad I'm not one of those lucky fellars.

Anyway, I had a good time. Met some people, some nice, some not so nice.

Oh... and my supervisor announced something to the team today. ... but more on that when I have the time.

I'm so tired! ...and another busy day tomorrow... *sign*
