Bread sticks!

HAHAHA I was very wrong when I thought that my colleagues and I won't have any makan makan session when we move to our new floor. Due to all of our glutton genes,(wai sek'ness) we had another mini pizza session on Monday.

The new pantry is really nice. A four dimension microwave (you can bake a cake and even roast a chicken! wOOt!), a coffee machine (real coffee beans…espresso and cappuccino in a jiffy) and a better sink and water filter, and much larger eating space. The only down side to the pantry is that there's very very little preparation space. All the empty space is taken up by all the kitchen gadgets.

Anyway, I think we won't be doing anything this 'dai pan cheong' (bizarre) in the future because the new pantry is ‘see through’. The walls and door are made of glass. The only reason we decided to have the makan makan session was because most of the people at the new floor were already on leave for Depavalli and Raya.

Having a better microwave oven is nice. HAHAHA nice... but not like I can bake cookies and cakes lah… but still nice.

Into the oven.

I told my mom about the makan makan session we had and she decided we should have Italian food for lunch today since my grandma and quite a number of relatives are down in KL.

My mom made the pizza dough and made 3 really large pizzas! I made bolognaise sauce to go with the pasta. And instead of making my specialty, (that's the garlic bread) I made bread sticks today. Turned out quite ok but there’s room for plenty of improvement. Going to make them more often now to ‘practice’ LOL! Making bread sticks from scratch takes up a lot of time and energy though. It’s not as simple as making garlic bread.

XXL Pizza. About 40 to 45cm in diameter!

Vegetarian pizza for one of my vegetarian relatives.

3rd pizza... that really looked like a pizza pie\cake because we ran out of pizza pan and resorted to baking pan.

Bread sticks! Too bad I didn't have parmesan cheese to go with it.

Last but not least, Happy Depavalli!
