Kain Kain
I tagged along with my mom to do some fabric hunting recently. My cousin's wedding is in a few months and my mom wants to tailor make a dinner dress each for my do re mi cousins. I was there as another eyesand hands and 50% design consultant HAHAHA. I thought it was going to be a boring task, but it ended up to be a quite interesting trip.
We headed to KL, to Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman and Jalan Masjid India I think. There were tons of fabric shops there.
Is this heaven for the Project Runway designers?
cotton, linen?.. I know nuts about fabrics.
The golds and silvers! Nice colors to use if I were making King Arthur's costumes and Cinderella ball gowns.
Laces for tudungs are not cheap man.
The pre cut matching cloths ready for tailoring a baju kurung can be costly. I saw one with a RM149 price tag. *glups*
Reminds me of male sarongs.
Curtain material. Nagoya (the shop's name) is selling some really nice curtain designs for only RM7 per meter! That's freaking cheap! The quality is really good and the design is nice. You can't find a nice but cheap curtain material in PJ. Good nice ones cost at least RM20 per meter even in PJ's Kamdar.
HAHAHA when I saw this, I knew I had to take a picture of this. We get strawberry milk from this type of cow. HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA.... ok lame joke but... hehehe
