Bad luck comes in a bundle. I broke a bowl, melted a plate and screwed up the microwave.
I went to the post office to collect a registered letter and then dropped by Giant supermarket to buy some groceries. There was this instant parpadam on sale for RM1.49 per packet. About 20 to 30 parpadam in a packet. The sample tasted ok, so I bought a packet.
I came back, took a plate and placed 2 piece or the 'raw' parpadam on it. I then back to the cupboard to take bowl. ..... when rinsing the bowl..I dropped it. *shit* shards of glass was every where. My dad gave me a look.
Things got worst. My sis helped me put the parpadam into the microwave. 10 minutes. 10 minutes? 10 minutes! The guy that was giving out the cooked parpadam sample told me, microwave it for 10 minutes. I'm stupid. Thin layer of mixed flour and spices. 10 minutes? I didn't bother to think. I told my sis to set it to 10.
I continued to clean up the mess I left. Had to sweep and then wash the kitchen floor to make sure there were no shards of glass left to hurt anyone. While cleaning up, I smelt something burning. *must be the parpadam* So I went to check on the parpadam. IT WAS ON FIRE IN THE MICROWAVE! *SHIT BIG TIME*
The plate that I used for the parpadam was microvable. But it melted. The parpadam burnt like paper. The other parpadam was ok....what the heckkk?! My dad gave me the "you are so dead" look. I turned off the power to the microwave and let the microwave air. The plate cracked, and a chip dropped off.
...my heart is still beating from the incident. I'm so stupid. Someone sue me.
