My files!
Someone shut downed my PC when Shareaza was verifying my 4.1gig Sex and The City Season 2 video files. And now it all corrupted! I'm pissed.... VERY VERY PISSED.
Why must this happen? SPOILS MY BLOODY DAY. FYI I had a superb day. I finially got my faulty ATM card replaced, I manage to get a little bit of work done in the office, I got 'lost in clothes' at MNG, had a nice dinner with Apple, bought another 2 of Anne Rice's books, ...but why... why this. Why was my PC off when I got back!? ARGH! It took me 2 months to get that whole 4.1gig file! I want to cuss so I'm gonna. FUCKkkkkkkkkkkk.

Don't feel sad first. You might still standing on some possibilities to recover the files.
As you might know, the files deleted from magnetic hard drives can still be recovered by using software. This kind of software is generally known as file recovery.
So, you may make some searching at Google for file recovery software, and download their trial versions to scan if your deleted files are detected. In most of the trial version software, it allows you to recover files, but to a certain capacity. Your 4.1G is definitely too large to be recovered with trial version software.
You might need to try out a few software to check which is capable of detecting your deleted files. Then, if you've found one, hehe neither to mention but try searching for its full version with P2P file sharing ;-)
I did it once. That time, what I've lost was the source files of a contracted project. And worse still, changes and modifications are needed. That time I was really going crazy haha
Hais...the file was not deleted. Its surelly some where in between my temp download folders and my sucessful download folders. *grumble grumble*
Hi teckiee,
I was looking for information about peer to peer file sharing when I came accross your blog. this post doesn't really cover what I was after but it sure looks like it'll be useful. I'm off to find more resources on peer to peer file sharing. Good luck and keep it up.
