Body Combat

Okay okay it's official, I have a second home. The gym! I'm no more visiting the dull gym at the office but I am a proud member of the Celebrity Fitness gym in 1Utama.

You know la, when one (that means me) start to work, one will tend to be calculative (that also means me). I used to pay RM75 per month for an hour of Hip Hop class weekly. But now I'm paying twice as much ++ but I get to attend unlimited classes. What is best is that 5 out of the 6 classes I attended so far ROCK ARSE!!! Yep... and I have only been a member for a week. I spend too much time on classes that I don't even have time for the other workout. Ohhh but its so worth it!

My favorite class so far is body combat. Imagine doing Mua Tai, karate and taekwando (…hm..David now do you spell taekwando?... I think I need some help with my punching style… I have too sissy and graceful punches) with Duhast playing in the back ground... and that's only the warm down! *wOOt* A really KICK ASS class.

The rest of the classes are mostly dance classes like Street Jam, Latin Mix, G Funk and Hip Hop. Also sweat like madddd la. Syok!

The class that I sucked most was RPM, a group cycling program where the instructor cum DJ spins songs and the group have to cycle according to the rhythm of the music. I almost died in the class... I didn't even last for 5 mins. The 50 minutes class felt like an 2 hours class! Thank god I still hung on and finished the class. My legs were so shaky after that. My goal... got to attend more of that class and must keep up with the class.

There's still so many classes I want to try, but too bad I don't have the time. Got to keep some time for yoga and pleates man.. I have always wanted to try them out... especially pleates.

Hohoho stress at work, but I can't wait for latin mix and RPM tomorrow!

This RPM, pleates, yoga, etc is taking us by storm. My students are talking about it, the people who sat next to me in 1-Utama for lunch last week talked non-stop about it, girls in the LRT talked about it, it's like how snooker took the guys' world by storm few years back. Way to go!
