Woah! The Park Shuffle rock arses!

PS was actually scheduled as a closed event, venue at Bandar Utama Park on the 15th of Jan. But due to over and fake advertising the organiser Siew Pak Choy (SPC) had to fake the postponement of the event. But there was no postponement, but a brought forward. Only the invite list knew about this but what the hell... people came wOOt!

Me and Zhong headed to the venue at 8pm. But it took us a quite a while to reach because of a jam caused by a halted car. We reached about 8.45pm, little people was there.

After that was all a blur. When the crowd started to pour in, I only can help myself by taking videos and people in action. Everyone was shy at the first, only SPC and a few others where dancing. The rest (like me) just watched. Well, I didn't really take much pictures and video after that because I was to busy shuffling. Hehehe. Sweat like a pig! My favourite spot was at the back, away from the crowd where it was cooling. No one there to step on me and there were large steps to dance with.

People came, people go. I saw plenty of my secondary school friends. Saw a few APIIT friends too! Also saw familiar strangers faces. It's like a mini rave going on man. The park security guard came and questioned SPC and a few other organisers, but I think all went well because they left after that. However they kept an eye on us.

The crowd was superb. Everyone was fun, and very sweaty! hehehe. Meet a few new friendly people. (One of the girls, I think, would make a nice girl friend shuffler. Damn, if only I were a lesbian HAHAHA) The speakers surprisingly worked really well. It put a lot of raving/shuffling 'feel' to the atmosphere. The music was so so though. I think there's room for improvement there. Hayden (a famous Australian shuffler) had to pick tracks from his IPod (linked to the speakers), and there were blanks blanks in between shuffling.

Overall I had a blast. (Great organising SPC, Win and Alex!)

Then again, I could have had double blast if not for some incident. It's cruel to pretend that something didn't happen. Babies don't walk over night. A chick don't hatch over night. Lovers can't be friends over night. Enough said. I don't want to go on and on about is already said. I'll just sink in to Vampire Lestat's sorrow if I do. (You've got to read Anne Rice's books, she's the bomb! Although she stopped writing the vampire chronicles already) I want Wee Free Man. ye' wann toy-lut!
