My mom complains that I don't go out anymore. She asked "Don't you have a lot of friends to meet?" "What happen to all of your friends?" "Everyone so busy meh? Must have friends you know" "Eh you got boyfriend or not? How come aunty said you have but I don't see you going out one?" "Go out la"

I can't stand it man! ARGHGHGHGHG!

She used to complain that I don't spend enough time at home. And now when I do she asks me why aren't I out. I think she is more interested to know why aren't I out looking for a boyfriend. The last thing I want to do is go "man hunting" ISH!

What is wrong being single my age? I need the freedom. I need my space. I don't appreciate people poking their nose into my life. I need quiet time. I don't need someone calling me every night to "ah I miss you so much". I just don't have the love to give.

So what if I end up 36 and still unmarried. I choose to be like that. And of course I know a husband won't drop on my bed one day when I decide I want to get married. Why can't my mom understand you have to let life and love take its course. You can set a guideline... boyfriend must have 2 eyes, 2 ears, 2 1 mouth and 1 nose. But seriously, I don't care if I love a man with one blinded eye. I'll marry him.

I can't stand all my mom's marriage talk man. Many of my relatives are dropping the red bomb (getting married) this year too and each time my mom will surely be asked "So when is your daughter's turn?" I'm happy that they are getting married, I truelly am. But pleaseeee aunty aunty uncle uncle, don't drag me into the picture.

Then I tell you ah... aiyor... don't want to talk about this already... yeeshhh. If my mom start matchmaking me with people, I will be rude and scream at her.
