Office politics

Never mind, if you don’t go to them, they will come to you. What is that? Office politics. Ironically that the one reason why many HATE! or LOVE about the office.

Back when I was sitting away from the rest of my colleagues, I was in peace and quiet and out of the way or office politics, or so I believe. Jy and me will be doing our own thing and crapping all the brainless sarcastic comments and ideas to mid air without needing to think twice about anyone. I really miss my old place with Jy and the helpdesk group.

A few days back, Az, one of the help desk guys left his position for another position within our same company. Sf was left alone, but later a new lady teamed up with him. Sf told me he had to do a ‘one leg kicking’ action for helpdesk while training the new lady. Isn’t that just crazy? Anyway, Sf and the lady shifted out of the room leaving Jy and my current supervisor. Should I ask to be moved back to the quiet room?

I’m not anti social. But somehow I feel a certain extra vibe of stress sitting with the rest of the team. I have to always watch out for my own back so I won’t get stab with a knife.

Me being seated in the room automatically includes me in conversations. ….well some conversation I don’t even what to listen. It’s sad when I am in a situation where I have no choice but to get involved.
