dog eat dog world
Things have been aggravating for the past few days. I have been really busy.
The work (folders) that was taken from me is (are) now given back to me. The folders were untouched for 16 days. I left it there for Kenny (not his\her real name) to take over but he was just a fucking slacker to even attempt to 'touch' it. When I got the folders back, no review was done. Zero. Zilch. I have to finish up 16 bloody days of backlogs on the folders.
You know what was worst? I felt I was being backstabbed. I was kind enough to teach and pass him all my information to ease his reviews. I answered all his queries and even included him on my mailing list when I was seeking information from other parties. I felt so arhghghg when one of my superiors questioned me about our reviews during a short unofficial meeting. All I did was help and complement Kenny in front of the bosses by all he did was comment negatively at my work and understands, making me look really bad. I guess that's what working life is all about. I guess this the dog eat dog world that I have still so much to learn from.
I'm not such a dumb ass though. I managed to 'recover' and get a little backing from my superior after further discussion. Of course I did have to resort to bullshitting and acting that I'm really not proud of.
Other than that things are fine. My current supervisor is promoted and will be leaving his post soon, so I will have to try harder to impress my next supervisor. *sign*

I heard of people backstabbing quietly before... but nv heard people doing it so openly... wahlaueh... gets me mad thinking about them...

Whatever else he was, he was also plain dumb 'not my job' lazy.
