Just came back from Singapore about an hour ago. There was a massive jam on the hiways on the other direction of the road, plus ot was raining. Really pity the ppl stuck in the jam.

Went to my bro's rented condo in singapore. Super nice environment! Top floor, spacious family and dinning hall, nice kitchen, a back and front balcony, a store room, and a nice view out of his room. But when it comes to cleaning....i pity my bro and his house mates. Had my bro's bday dinner at this new concept restaurant, open air, in front of a park, lots of greens. The food was so so, the lamb satay was superb tho. Ate with my bro's friends too. One of them looks like a thinner and more innocent looking version of Gary. Oh yeah...bro wore the shirt i gave him to the dinner. =) Got pixs here.

Not forgetting.....MERDEKA MERDEKA MERDEKA!!! Today, the 31st of August is the national day of Malaysia!

ps.Hey SJ, i'm using a canon S50. hehehe we can go for a photography session when you come back!

Almost forgot... Happy Birthday MR TWENTY YEAR OLD MAN wai kit! and also Happy SATU LAPAN Birthday to Edwin!

DBS presentation today. Stress.

We were actually very prepared and very prepared for our presentation. We were group #3 to present. But after the first and second group's presentation, we kind of chickened out. The rest of the groups (esp the CS intake) were FREAKING good. Even tho some didn finish get to finish the modules, most if then used MFC or .NET for the interface. The group which the lecturer said "there is a group who will definitly get an A" (which i think is Fransis's group) during our presentation really scared us off. Well, if it didnt scare my teammates it definitly scared the hell out of me. We ended up presenting in the second session at 3pm. We stayed to watch the CS groups presentation then left for Japanese food near Sri Damansara. Went back to college after that for the presentation.

Also wanna say GOOD JOB DUDES! Cos we cooked the system up in a short 4 5 days period and got a reasonably ok marks for it =). Also wanna say sorrie if i made you dudes loose confident in our system yesterday and today. Its just that CS ppl today were presenting with good system, made me very worried.

Went for supper at William's after DBS meeting. Saw Paul, Julina and Chee Wei (animal) there. When i saw them i was like "hm...yam kan char ah (drinking coffee)?... they must have finished coding already". But then later Paul told us that actually Hon Keong and Ming Lee were still coding.

Anyways, there was a road block on the way back to my place. The police checked the car for suspicious stuff. Nothing for them to see tho, only Ying's laptop in the backseat. I think its good that they have road blocks like that and stuff. So many rape cases, car robberies and stuff...*sigh... When Sean drop me off the other day i saw this police car on ronda too. Good la'.

SE presentation tomorrow....wish me luck...hope i wont stutter and burst out in laughter all of a sudden!

Learnt something important today. Buffers are dangerous. Buffers are annoying. Buffers let stuff like w.32.blaster.worm to be alive!

Now i know why my lvl1 variable had extra garbage at the back of the varaible. It was caused by my strcpy() function. Nvm la. At least now i know.

My harddisk is at its verge of passing away. It passed out a few...many...times today. I dont dare to shutdown or reboot my pc now cos i'l surelly get a boot failure after that. Sometime unplugging and plugging in the bus helps, but not always. Dear hdd...dont die on me now. I'm damn worried about the condition of my pc. Esp my hdd. Have to back up all my important stuff..esp my DBS project source codes in case my hdd decided to play dead with me.

My DBS team came over for a meeting just now. Tried to revamp the system and database design to suit everyone module. Didnt come up with a good design. So ended up sticking back to our original design. So now...the standards are fixed..means time for me to really start coding. Stress.

Went to project to eat after the meeting Sean and Ying. Hm...i didnt know the kebab sosej is so yummy hehehe. Damn full now...BURB. We took our C books there, kind of like wanted to discuss some syntax problems..but ended up discussing SE. hehehe.
What i've learnt during the session? Well...there's 7 coheasions 1. Functional (Funky)
2. Sequential (Sex)
3. Communicational (Can)
4. Procedural (Provide)
5. Temporal (Tender)
6. Logical (Loving)
7. Coincedental (Care) (courtesy of some HORNY fella in class hahaha)

and 6 couplings...(and i always tot there was only 5)
1. Data
2. Stamp
3. Control
4. External
5. Common
6. Content

I lost my whole SE project folder yesterday! How? I was clearing my desktop cos it was over crowded with unwanted junk. I was happily selecting file to delete and i ter'selected the SE project folder. I shift-deleted all the files. All gone. Ka poof! just like that. And if you didnt already know, shift deleting your files automatically deletes it, without dumping it in the recycling bin. I wanted to download those sw for files recovery but didn. I called Wei Chin and told her what i've done. She came online and sent me the backup. Thank god i burnt a copy for her for testing. Without that copy me and my group will be dead meat.

Just wanna say thank you a lot lot to Wei Chin. She stayed up until the wee hours of the morning just to send the more than 10mb file thru her 56k. SE all done and handed up! Now just have to wait till nest wednesday for the presentation.

DBS SQL test today. And i thought SQL easy. After the test today i just realised that SQL statements could be darn tricky. Need to practice more on that...and the theory part for SQL really suck. Damn. Due and presentation on next thursday. I better not slack.

Finish SE already! WEEEEE!

Go went here, and listed my blog for participatation. But now i have no clue how the thing work. Pinging action going on. I'm blur. No brain power to think today too. Maybe i should to experiment stuff tomorrow.

Anyways, i think i should be able to share files with you all soon... just have to test some stuff out first.

Went to Apiit KL for MUG game show today. Saw Yu Jeen there. It's been like almost 3 years man. Usually i see him online and when exams comes we exchange tips and stuff hehehe. Nice seeing him again.

Morning class tomorrow.......sign...

I'm feeling much better today. =)

Reminder: Click at your own risk.
my medication
1. A strong dose of god's beautiful creations.
2. Moderate amount of Hahaha's
3. The infinite loop of Jay Chou and David Tau 's songs.
4. hugs!

Sunday, August 17, 2003

I'm sick. No mood. I need a hug. =( ...

Friday, August 15, 2003

I learnt a great lesson today. I dont think i want to go thru what i went thru again. At least i'll try not too. *sign

Had a damn boring day today. Practically did nothing. I tried doing a little of DBS, but i came up with a lot of errors. Didnt have the mood for it after that. I installed Kazaa, and i'm not back to downloading stuff. After i formated my pc...hehehe i just cant let the free space to turn into bad sectors.

Ying burned Jay Chou's and David Tao's songs for me. Nice. You all should go see Jay Chao's Shuang Dao MTV. The fight scene is superb. Jay's song on this new album are not bad.

Went to eat KFC for lunch with the food club. Pix over at my photoblog.

Then went back to coll got our end of level briefing. The next intake (Oct) will be like 2 weeks after my final exams. So if i take the oct intake...i will have very minimal time to 'PLAY'. =( =( I dont want to wait for the next intake cos its gonna be in Feb next year! 4 months! Too long of a holiday. Waste of time. Damn.

SO YES. Confirm going for the OCT intake. Aie, damn less life, damn sad case.

Still deciding on what to major in though. My first choice is E-commerce, second choice is General Computing. Still thinking cos if i take e-com...i would have to take an extra 3 months transfer course before i can take e-com. I'll be studying more business subjects during the transfer course. The business students what wants to take e-com would have to take the transfer course too, but they will be learning computing subjects. Have to pay an extra RM1++k for the transfer course. The $ doesn matter here tho.

Oh yeah...i'm applying for Monash and Queensland Uni of Tech too. But just for fun (kind of wanna see if i could get an offer letter from them). Apiit can do it for me so what the heck...its free!

I cussss w32.blaster.worm to the MAX!!! Go get the patch fast. Me and Sean ended up formating our pc's because of it. But dont worry, you dont have to format yours actually. Go to here and download the worm scanner. Get rid of the worn before it starts spawning.

I didn't know i was infected at first. I went to college in the morning, then Sean called me to ask how to fix the problem in his pc. But when i got back home and logged on to the internet, i encountered the same problem. Then i knew it was a virus or something. I updated my virus definition and did a full system scan. Found a MSBLAST.EXE in C:Windows/system32 folder. Deleted it and scanned again. This time the spawnned exe came up. Deleted it too. Scan again. No more worms. Reboot my pc and did a scan again. Nothing. The i logged on to the internet and WAM...the same error message and my pc shuts itself down. Tried to fix it without formating my pc but no avail. Everytime i logged on to the net i automatically activate the damn worm.

End up formating. At least my C: is clean now.

"Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family.
Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines,
cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers.
Choose leisurewear and matching luggage.
Choose a three-piece suite on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics.
Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on a Sunday morning.
Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing,
spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth.
Choose rotting away at the end of it all,
pishing your last in a miserable home,
nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself.
Choose your future. Choose life.

I chose not to choose life: I chose something else."

Today, i'm a digicamER and a cd-romLESS. But gonna be a DVD-romER soon. I hope. I'm so so broke now. Will be totally flat broke with i buy my DVD-rom. But hey, i got my cam i got my cam WEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

I spent my whole morning at the bank today. I woke up early and was already at the entrance before the door opened. Quite a number of people was waiting with me too. Time : 9.30am. The doors open, the herd of omnivore rush to that number machine thingy where you get your queue numbers from. Got my number and sat for about 15 minutes. Went to the counter when my number was called.

All I wanted to do is to transfer my children's account to an adult savings account. But it took a bloody 1 hour and 30 minutes to process my new account and to close my children's account! I think its ridicules. Real waste of time. If I knew it will take such a long time, I would have left my account untouched until I am 60! (You know, you get higher interest rates in a children account. Nyek nyek nyek)

Anyways, the wait wasn't that bad. Saw quite a few beautiful god's creation (if ya know what I mean ..hehehe ;P) No botaks, but one has Hidetoshi Nakata's looks. Plus I sat beside a really nice elderly lady. She taught me some tricks on getting my stuff done faster! Hehehe. She was sweet. Very sweet and nice lady. =)

I came across this article. If anyone is interested in widening your general knowledge, read this. I find it quite interesting for some reasons.

i'm so full of banana. really. hehehe ;P

I ate two pisang emas this morning. Went out with Zhong after dinner to have Chocolate Banana in Secret Recipe. I thought of eating the cake because yesterday this guy came up to me and ying in the library and asked us if we were free to take a short survey. It was a survey for Secret Recipe in Sri Petaling. So I was kind of missing the delicious taste of Chocolate Banana. Yum yum. Then came back home. But as I was about to open my gate, Sean called.

Five minutes later he reached my place. Ying was with him too. We wanted to go to this new (I think its new) café just a shop away from Coffee Bean called Black something. Coffee Bean kind of style. But didn’t work out cos the place was packed. We went to Swensen’s instead. And yeah, you guessed it. I had Banana Split. Shared it with ying anyways cos I was kind of full but ‘wai sek’ hehehe.

I'm full now...full of banana.

Event: Pikom PcFair 02 August 2003
-----
Took the LRT to Pasar Seni station, then meet up with Ying there. We took the bus to Sungai Wang cos Ying wanted to get her digicam there. She got a Canon S50, a little over 2k plus a free 128mb compact flash card. Then, of cos i was there looking and the various digicam there also. The Casio EXLIM EXZ3(3.1megapixel) is damn nice! Smaller and lighter than Ixus! But its Rm1880 with a 128mc cf. So kind of not worth. Might as well get the Canon Ixus 400(4megapixel) that is also the same price. I was actually looking for S45, that is one model behind S50. But they didn't have it in stock. =(. Anyways, i told the lady that i would be back next week to grab Ixus400. Me and Ying also bought a top each from Giordano.

Ate lunch there and then took a cab to Masjid Jamek LRT station. The cab that we took was super chun! The driver was like middle aged guy with sunglasses. The whole cab was tinted so it was super cool inside. Black PVC seatings, cd player, nice set of speakers and he was listening to Hitz.fm kekeke. One of Kylie's song was playing at that moment and he blasted the speakers. MUAHAHAHA syok.

Ok when we reached PWTC and went in the entrance of the Fair....aiyor...super super pack. Walk around the 1st floor for a while then went down to the ground floor...hehehe, that's where all the actions are. Very hard to move a round cos the place was really pack. Even sardin cans have more space.

Me and Ying did our 1st round of surveys, kept an eye out for stuff we (and our friends helping a few other friends to inquire about other stuff) needed. Then got our stuff during the second round. Saw quite a few Apiitians there.

Stuff i bought : One black giordano tee, One logitech(mouse) optical mouse, 200pcs of CD-R's(100 for a friend), One Hambuger CD wallet(for a friend too)

My highlights of the Fair :
#1 One really chunted Panasonic Digicam. Forgot the model name (4 diff colours, red, silver, orange and blue)
#2 Laptops. Real cheap these days.
#3 HP Mp3thumbdrive. Really looks like Creative MuVo.
#4 (not in the PcFair, but in the Camera Fair, also in PWTC) Hitachi's digital video recorder. What so special? Uses DVD-Ram or DVD-R instead of the normal tapes.
-------

... i'm super tired now...have to go out for dinner some more...sobb sobb...no energy liau...but my coussie graduated today...have to go.

FUCK YOU!, YOU BLODDY IDIOTIC DRIVER. YOU COULD HAVE KILLED ME! YOU BITCH, YOU JERK! YOU LAME ASS DRIVER, PLEASE GO RE-READ YOUR BUKU UNDANG AND TEST YOUR REFLEXES AND ESTIMATION BEFORE YOU DRIVE ANOTHER VEHICLE. OR JUST QUIT DRIVING BEFORE YOU KILL SOMEONE OR YOURSELF!

BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA!!!

I was driving back from sean's place after DBS meeting just now. Passed the DJ secondary school. Then before the bridge(projet), there's this junction from my right, where cars can turn out to the other side of the main road. (You know which junction i'm talking about rite?) That stupid car turned without looking if there's any car on the main road(where i was). The driver just turned the conner then only look to see if there's cars on the straight (main road). The car was parking at the left lane of the main road and the head of the car was taking half the space on the right lane. BLOODYHELL, DAMN BAKA! Thank god i was able avoid the car in time and thank god it was in front of the junction (the right side of the main road was dividers, but at the junction it was road to let the cars turn). If there was still dividers i would have crashed in to that BAKA's car or went up the dividers.

Lucky nothing happen to the cars on the left lane too. I only can remember that the car on the left was almost stationary when i avoided that BAKA's car. Thank god the car behind of me was far from mine. Dont want the car behind slamming on to mine.

BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA BAKA!!!!

Now my dad's car tires smells of burnt rubber. Who's fault? That BAKA driver. Dont know if male or female cos DUH, i dont have time to look at the driver face while avoiding his/her car. Dont know what car is that also. All i can remember is a white car and my screeching tires. I'm DAMN TULAN!
